At 511 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from near Newkirk to 5 miles northwest of Pastura, moving southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Santa Rosa, Puerto De Luna, Santa Rosa Lake State Park, Cuervo, Newkirk, Pastura and Pintada. This includes the following highways... Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 248 and 309. Highway 60 between Mile Markers 276 and 278.
