At 940 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong outflow boundary located along a line extending from 7 miles north of Hope to 10 miles south of Lovington. Movement was south at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs, and blowing dust may briefly reduce visibilities down to 2 miles or less. Locations impacted include... Carlsbad, Artesia, Hope, Loving, Avalon, Maljamar, Seven Rivers Airport, Brantley Lake State Park, Carlsbad North, Lincoln National Forest, Lea County Zip Franklin Memorial Airport, Loco Hills, Artesia Municipal Airport, Otis, Cavern City Air Terminal, Living Desert State Park, Dayton, Lakewood, Halfway, and Atoka.
