At 855 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 7 miles southwest of Bledsoe to 13 miles east of Artesia to 12 miles east of Pinon. Movement was south at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Hobbs, Carlsbad, Artesia, Lovington, Tatum, Hope, Humble City, Avalon, Maljamar, Crossroads, Seven Rivers Airport, McDonald, Brantley Lake State Park, Caprock, Carlsbad North, Lincoln National Forest, Loco Hills, Gladiola, Dayton, and Tatum Airport.
