What the bulletin says to do
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Heavy rains from thunderstorms can produce sudden and dangerous flows in arroyos, ditches and over low water crossings. Do not attempt to drive through areas where water covers the roadway.

At 530 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Santo Domingo Pueblo, or 19 miles northeast of Bernalillo, moving southwest at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph, torrential rainfall, and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Hail may accumulate on roadways causing hazardous travel. Locations impacted include... Santo Domingo Pueblo, San Felipe Pueblo, Kewa Pueblo, Cochiti Pueblo, Zia Pueblo, Algodones, Domingo, Pena Blanca and Placitas. This includes the following highways... Highway 550 near Mile Marker 17. Interstate 25 between Mile Markers 247 and 260.
