At 251 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10 miles south of Capulin, or 14 miles southwest of Des Moines, moving northeast at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Mainly rural areas of West Central Union and East Central Colfax Counties. This includes Highway 64 near Mile Marker 381.
