At 557 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong thunderstorms 25 miles south of Bingham, or 38 miles west of Carrizozo, moving southeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Mainly rural areas of Southeastern Socorro and West Central Lincoln Counties. This includes Highway 380 between Mile Markers 45 and 51.
