At 450 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Veguita, or 11 miles southeast of Belen, moving northwest at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Casa Colorada, Jarales, Veguita, Rio Communities, Los Trujillos-Gabaldon, Las Nutrias and Sabinal. This includes Interstate 25 between Mile Markers 181 and 190.
