At 511 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Moriarty, moving west at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Moriarty, Edgewood, Chilili, Escabosa and Miera. This includes Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 187 and 200.
