At 417 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10 miles south of Abo, or 32 miles southeast of Belen, and is stationary. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Gran Quivira. This includes Highway 60 between Mile Markers 182 and 196.
