At 548 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles east of Lordsburg, moving south at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail and areas of blowing dust along interstate 10. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Blowing dust could reduce visibilities making it difficult to drive. Locations impacted include... Lordsburg, Shakespeare, and Pyramid Mountains. This includes Interstate 10 in New Mexico between mile markers 22 and 40.
