If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio stations and available television stations for additional information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

At 420 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6 miles east of Gage. This thunderstorm was nearly stationary. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph, pea size hail, and blowing dust. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Blowing dust may reduce visibility at times, minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Gage. This includes Interstate 10 in New Mexico between mile markers 61 and 74.
