At 1235 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Canon Plaza, or 25 miles east of Tierra Amarilla, moving south at 5 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Canon Plaza and Las Tablas. This includes Highway 64 between Mile Markers 213 and 219.
