At 350 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from 12 miles south of Mesita to 8 miles northeast of National Radio Astronomy Observatory, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Magdalena, National Radio Astronomy Observatory, Acoma Pueblo and Alamo. This includes Highway 60 between Mile Markers 80 and 121.
