At 806 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles southwest of Sharon Springs to near Newark Valley. Movement was east at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Binghamton, Vestal, Johnson City, Oneonta, Endicott, Maine, Guilford, Worcester, Middlefield, and Hartwick.
