At 534 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7 miles northeast of Roscoe, or 15 miles north of Liberty, moving northeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Roscoe, Mongaup Pond Campground, Big Pond Campsite, Lewbeach, Waneta Lake, Joscelyn, Little Pond Campground, Beaverkill Campground, and Russell Brook Campsite.
