At 440 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Lewey Lake Campground, or 7 miles northeast of Speculator, moving southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Warrensburg, Speculator, Johnsburg, Wells, Lewey Lake Campground, Sacandaga Campground, Moffitt Beach Campground, Thurman, Stony Creek, Harrisburg, Hope, Thurman Station, Gilmantown, Girards Sugarbush, Sodom, Tenantville, Perkins Clearing, Blackbridge, Edwards Hill, and Wevertown.
