At 232 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong thunderstorms extending from near De Kalb to 35 miles west of Hammond, or extending from 5 miles southwest of Rensselaer Falls to 37 miles west of Hammond Village, moving south at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Hermon Village, Richville, Gouverneur Village, Rensselaer Falls, Heuvelton, Hammond Village, Morristown Village, Hermon, Edwards, Russell, De Kalb, Pitcairn, Fowler, Canton, Gouverneur, Clare, Fine and De Peyster.
