At 230 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Galway, or 11 miles northeast of Amsterdam, moving northeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Saratoga Springs, Glenville, Ballston Spa, Corinth, Galway, North Ballston Spa, Rock City Falls, Kings, Mount Pleasant, Wilton, Greenfield, Charlton, Parkis Mills, Shaw Corners, Kings Station, Barkersville, West Milton, Glenwild, Greenfield Center, and Wiley Corners. People attending Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC) should seek safe shelter immediately! This includes Interstate 87 between exits 15 and 16.
