At 513 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Westerlo, or 15 miles southwest of Delmar, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Nassau, New Baltimore, Westerlo, Ravena, Coxsackie, Valatie, Castleton-On-Hudson, Kinderhook, Selkirk, Coeymans, Stockport, Stuyvesant, Rensselaerville, Coeymans Hollow, Shoefelt Corners, Van Hoesen Station, Dormansville, Rossman, Result, and Otter Hook. This includes Interstate 87 between exits 21B and 21A.
