At 556 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over North Elba, or near Lake Placid, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Lake Placid, Wilmington, Jay, Black Brook, Keene, Lewis, North Elba, St Armand, AuSable, Peru, Chesterfield, Upper Jay and Jay In Essex County.
