At 907 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Minerva Park, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation. Locations impacted include... Columbus, Westerville, Reynoldsburg, Gahanna, Worthington, Bexley, Pataskala, Johnstown, Minerva Park, Ohio State University, Beechwood Trails, Polaris, Easton, Summit Station, Granville South, Whitehall, New Albany, Jersey, Riverlea, and Kirkersville. This includes I-71 in Ohio between mile markers 109 and 122. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.
