Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for western and northwestern West Virginia.

At 821 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles east of Beverly to 8 miles south of Chesterhill. Movement was south at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Parkersburg, Marietta, Belpre, St. Marys, Beverly, Racine, Coolville, Forked Run State Park, Vienna, Ravenswood, Williamstown, Belmont, Washington, Mineralwells, Tuppers Plains, Lubeck, Boaz, Newport, Chester, and Matamoras. This includes the following highways... Interstate 77 in West Virginia between mile markers 151 and 153, and between mile markers 156 and 186. Interstate 77 in Ohio between mile markers 1 and 14. Route 50 in West Virginia between mile markers 1 and 33.
