At 158 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near McConnelsville to near Athens. Movement was east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Athens, Marietta, Belpre, Glouster, McConnelsville, Beverly, Coolville, Chesterhill, Chauncey, Malta, Lowell, Stockport, Jacksonville, Trimble, Bristol, Macksburg, Amesville, Lower Salem, Stroud Run State Park, and Little Hocking. This includes Interstate 77 in Ohio between mile markers 4 and 17.
