At 654 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Boaz, or near Marietta, moving northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Parkersburg, Marietta, St. Marys, Vienna, Williamstown, Belmont, Boaz, Newport, North Hills, Lowell, Lower Salem, Willow Island, Waverly, Fleming, and Devola. This includes the following highways... Interstate 77 in West Virginia between mile markers 178 and 186. Interstate 77 in Ohio between mile markers 1 and 13.
