At 927 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking the leading edge of winds from strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles north of Cookietown to 4 miles northwest of Holliday to 4 miles southeast of Vera. Movement was southeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Wichita Falls, Altus, Vernon, Burkburnett, Frederick, Henrietta, Seymour, Quanah, Walters, Archer City, Munday, Knox City, Crowell, Benjamin, Iowa Park, Electra, Holliday, Grandfield, Temple, and Tipton.
