At 344 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12 miles west of North Powder, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... North Powder, Union, and Telocaset. This includes Interstate 84 between mile markers 265 and 285.
