At 741 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles east of McDermitt, moving northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Areas of blowing dust reducing visibility. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Horse Hill and Anderson Crossing, near McDermitt east of U.S. Highway 95.
