At 837 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from over East Conemaugh to 18 miles north of Ursina, or extending from over Johnstown to 19 miles west of Somerset, moving southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated....

Seek shelter inside a building. This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio stations and available television stations for additional information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

At 837 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from over East Conemaugh to 18 miles north of Ursina, or extending from over Johnstown to 19 miles west of Somerset, moving southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Johnstown, Somerset, Westmont, Windber, Belmont, Geistown, Southmont, Friedens, Vinco, Boswell, Dale, East Conemaugh, Salix-Beauty Line Park, Davidsville, Paint, Jerome, South Fork, Scalp Level, Sidman and St. Michael. This includes The Pennsylvania Turnpike between mile markers 100 and 112.
