At 1242 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Chambersburg, moving southeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Chambersburg, Gettysburg, Guilford, Carroll Valley, Fayetteville, Mont Alto, Scotland, Cashtown, Orrtanna, Biglerville, Arendtsville, Fairfield, McKnightstown, Quincy, Liberty Mountain Resort, Penn State Mont Alto, Gettysburg College, and Gettysburg National Military Park.
