Full official description
Bulletin details
An active monsoon pattern will continue to bring scattered to numerous, locally heavy, showers and isolated to scattered thunderstorms across portions of Yap State through Thursday night. Frequent lightning, wind gusts to 25 knots, and choppy seas can be expected with thunderstorms. Inter-island travel will be hazardous through at least this Thursday night. Several inches of rain have already fallen with this event, which is on top of the foot of rain Yap saw last week. Due to saturated conditions, flash flooding and mudslides are expected where the heaviest rain occurs. Residents across Yap State should monitor local forecasts and heed advice of emergency managers when heavy rainfall occurs.
