At 847 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Lemon Island, moving north at 5 mph. HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous waters. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Lemon Island, Laurel Bay, Burton, Shell Point, Parris Island, Chesterfield and Edwards Burton Rodgers Bridge.
