At 432 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Sardis, or 14 miles southwest of Florence, moving south at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Lake City, Timmonsville, Sardis, Cartersville, Scranton, Olanta, and Central Crossroads. This includes Interstate 95 in South Carolina between mile markers 147 and 155.
