At 242 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Edgefield County Airport, or 10 miles northeast of Belvedere, moving east at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Aiken, Citizens Park, Aiken Municipal Airport, USC Aiken, Graniteville, Trenton, Hopeland Gardens, and Vaucluse. This includes Interstate 20 in South Carolina between mile markers 8 and 28.
