At 444 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Harbison State Forest, or 7 miles northeast of Irmo, moving northeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Columbia, Irmo, Dentsville, St. Andrews, Lake Carolina, Villages at Sandhill, Longtown, Columbia International University, Elgin, Killian, Harbison State Forest, Lugoff, Blythewood, Ridgeway, Upper Richland Fire Station, Eau Claire, Smallwood, Cedar Creek Fire Station, Winnsboro Mills, and Seven Oaks. This includes the following highways... Interstate 20 in South Carolina between mile markers 65 and 73. Interstate 26 between mile markers 96 and 104. Interstate 77 between mile markers 18 and 40.
