At 513 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Sandy Run, or 13 miles south of Cayce, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Columbia, Cayce, McEntire Air Base, Gaston, Eastover, SC State Farmer's Market, Congaree National Park, Hopkins, Sandy Run, Fort Jackson, Gadsden, Horrel Hill, Swansea, Woodford, New Zion, Dinkins Mill, Lexington Acres Pond, Fort Jackson Wildcat Road, Boykin, and Fort Jackson McCrady Training Center. This includes the following highways... Interstate 20 in South Carolina between mile markers 80 and 89. Interstate 26 between mile markers 117 and 133. Interstate 77 between mile markers 2 and 11.
