At 837 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Aiken State Park, or 16 miles east of Aiken Mall, moving north at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Aiken, Aiken Mall, Williston, New Ellenton, USC Aiken, Citizens Park, Aiken Municipal Airport, Gloverville, Aiken State Park, Graniteville, Burnettown, Wagener, Pelion, Salley, Perry, Windsor, Aiken Gopher Tortoise Heritage Preserve, Perry Airport, Hopeland Gardens, and Thor. This includes Interstate 20 in South Carolina between mile markers 16 and 40.
