At 512 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 10 miles northeast of Aiken State Park to Orangeburg to 8 miles east of Bowman. Movement was northeast at 40 mph. ...Boaters on Lake Marion Should Seek Safe Harbor... HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Orangeburg, Brookdale, St. Matthews, Gaston, Holly Hill, Summerton, Bowman, Elloree, Santee State Park, Orangeburg County Airport, Congaree National Park, Santee Cooper Regional Airport, Claflin College, South Carolina State University, Sandy Run, Edisto Gardens, Santee, Swansea, Wagener, and North. This includes the following highways... Interstate 26 between mile markers 121 and 169. Interstate 95 between mile markers 85 and 113.
