At 243 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Gaston, or 12 miles south of Cayce, moving northwest at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and extremely heavy rainfall. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Cayce, South Congaree, Pine Ridge, Gaston, SC State Farmer's Market, Hopkins, Sandy Run, Swansea, North, Pelion, Woodford, New Zion, Lexington County Airport At Pelion, Lexington Acres Pond, Peachtree Rock, Edmund, Silver Lake, and Dixiana. This includes the following highways... Interstate 26 between mile markers 116 and 140. Interstate 77 between mile markers 0 and 4, and between mile markers 6 and 7.
