At 726 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Oak Grove to 8 miles north of Eastover. Movement was southeast at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Columbia, West Columbia, Cayce, Forest Acres, St. Andrews, McEntire Air Base, Dentsville, Oak Grove, South Congaree, Pine Ridge, Arcadia Lakes, Eastover, Hopkins, Columbia International University, Horrel Hill, Riverbanks Zoo, SC State Farmer's Market, Woodfield, Sesquicentennial State Park, and Columbia Metro Airport. This includes the following highways... Interstate 126 between mile markers 0 and 3. Interstate 20 in South Carolina between mile markers 62 and 79. Interstate 26 between mile markers 106 and 119. Interstate 77 between mile markers 0 and 18.
