At 121 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Holly Hill, or 16 miles northeast of Saint George, moving northwest at 20 mph. ...Boaters on Lake Marion Should Seek Safe Harbor... HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and numerous cloud to ground lightning strikes. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Orangeburg, Manning, Brookdale, Holly Hill, Summerton, Bowman, Elloree, Santee State Park, Santee Cooper Regional Airport, Claflin College, South Carolina State University, Santee, Cameron, Eutawville, Paxville, Vance, Poplar Creek Landing, Rimini, Stumphole Landing, and Eautaw Springs. This includes the following highways... Interstate 26 between mile markers 148 and 169. Interstate 95 between mile markers 85 and 120.
