Bulletin details

At 431 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong outflow winds extending from 12 miles southeast of Owl Butte to near Nemo, or extending from 28 miles northeast of Sturgis to 14 miles south of Sturgis, moving southeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Rapid City, Sturgis, Rapid Valley, Ellsworth Air Force Base, Box Elder, Black Hawk, Summerset, New Underwood, Johnson Siding, Nemo, Hermosa, Union Center, Piedmont, Vale, Hisega, Silver City, Enning, Elm Springs, Hereford and Caputa. This includes Interstate 90 in South Dakota between Mile Markers 30 and 90.
