At 612 PM CDT /512 PM MDT/, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong thunderstorms extending from over Lantry to 8 miles northwest of Chantier Creek Recreation Area, or extending from over Lantry to 22 miles northwest of Fort Pierre, moving northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. The strong thunderstorms will be near... Eagle Butte and Mission Ridge around 615 PM CDT. Parade around 630 PM CDT. Little Bend Rec Area around 635 PM CDT. Bush's Landing around 640 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by these strong thunderstorms include Cheyenne River Reservation and Lake Oahe.
