At 443 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Silver City, or 11 miles north of Hill City, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Rapid City, Johnson Siding, Silver City, Hisega, Rochford, Mystic, Rockerville, Pactola Reservoir, Sheridan Lake and Keystone Wye. This includes Interstate 90 in South Dakota between Mile Markers 55 and 58.
