Bulletin details
At 900 PM MDT /1000 PM CDT/, Automated observations indicated an area of strong thunderstorms extending from 14 miles northwest of Intersection of Highway 83 and White River to 9 miles north of Cedar Butte, or extending from 23 miles north of White River to 17 miles northwest of White River, moving southeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch size hail. SOURCE...Automated observations. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Cedar Butte. This includes Interstate 90 in South Dakota between Mile Markers 165 and 174.
