At 524 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7 miles northeast of Thunder Valley, or 35 miles north of Pine Ridge, moving southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Kyle, Potato Creek, Kyle North Route Housing, Yellow Bear Canyon, Snake Butte, southern Badlands National Park and Pine Ridge Reservation.
