At 321 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Rapid City, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Rapid City, Rapid Valley, southern Box Elder, Black Hawk, Hisega, Rockerville, Reptile Gardens, Bear Country, Hart Ranch, Black Gap, Rapid City Airport and Sheridan Lake. This includes Interstate 90 in South Dakota between Mile Markers 54 and 64.
