At 1228 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles northwest of Somerville, or 18 miles northeast of Cordova, moving southeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Whiteville, Somerville, Warren, Macon, Oakland, Mason, Gallaway, Moscow, Williston, Braden, La Grange, Yum Yum, Belmont, Taylor Chapel, Hickory Withe, Pattersonville, Laconia, Longtown, Moorman, and Lambert. This includes Interstate 40 in Tennessee between mile markers 29 and 41.
