At 1143 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Bemis, or 8 miles south of Jackson, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Jackson, Henderson, Bemis, Jacks Creek, Mifflin, Finger, Enville, Medon, Pinson, Beech Bluff, Westover, Madison Hall, Roby, Gilmore, Maple Grove, Cabo, Middle Fork, East Union, Malesus, and Parkburg. This includes Interstate 40 in Tennessee between mile markers 82 and 87.
