At 1151 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Mercer, or 10 miles southwest of Jackson, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Jackson, Henderson, Bolivar, Chickasaw State Forest, Chickasaw State Park, Silerton, Bemis, Masseyville, Jacks Creek, Mifflin, Cloverport, Mercer, Robertson, McNairy, Bethel Springs, Toone, Hornsby, Finger, Medon, and Neely. This includes Interstate 40 in Tennessee between mile markers 68 and 83.
