At 159 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Sparta, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Crossville, Sparta, Pleasant Hill, Doyle, Lake Tansi, Cumberland Mountain State Park, Slate Springs, Bakers Crossroads, and Virgin Falls State Natural Area. This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 308 and 324.
